Roto Loto is really a game all should have at least tried. The game has a lot of variation, still it is going fast and not complicated. Everyone can play Roto Loto.

The game was released early 2020, setting a new standard on game play, design and technical perfection. It was an almost instant hit.

The design of the game machine looks perhaps familiar, many games have a similar look. Above the machine you see what you can win, below that the score you need to beat in order to win this.

Then you see the current score and the current round.

Below that something remarkable: The bonus wheel. At the end of the game this wheel spins, it will give you a bonus, ranging between 1% up to 100%.

Thus remember if I need to beat a score of e.g. 16,500 to win and I got half of that, thus above 8,250, the game can be won. The bonus wheel will spin, and it could spin 100%.

Possible values on the bonus wheel are 1%, 5%, 10%, 25% and 50%.

Lets start with the beginning, play a game of Roto Loto and see what will happen.

I select a game machine and pay it, immediately after my payment the game will start. 

This first round starts with 2 coins. A coin gives 500 points, so, the score is already 1000. Nice start!

In the second column I see a wild and in the 4th column the number 40. The number is useless because I cannot match it. For the wild I can choose where to play it on the same column.

Thus I could play the wild at 12,13,17 and 19. Here 12 and 19 are the lesser choices as they are each on both a horizontal and vertical line, but not on a diagonal. Completing lines gives points, thus I prefer a number that is on 3 lines above a number that is on only a single line.

I choose 17. Thus I click the number 17 and afterwards I click the spinner to move to the next round.

I begin the next round with 1100 points, as matching the number gave us 100 points above the 1000 I already had.

Below all numbers except the 4 orange numbers, is a bonus hidden. In this case I got a very nice one, the 2x. All my bonuses will be multiplied by 2.

This round I get a 9 in the first column and a wild in the 3rd column. The wild should of course be played on 24 (is on the same diagonal as there is already one field matched and on the same line as the 9).

Thus I match the 9 and 24 and then click the spinner to go on to the next round.

2 matches were made, thus the score goes up 2 times 100.

Note that the number of rounds displayed on the top right of the screen is the number of rounds left. That is still 9 rounds after this one.

Note that at matching the 6 a bonus was revealed, these bonuses are already multiplied with the multiplier (3), thus I would get 225 points when collecting that bonus.

At the bottom left of the board is an orange field, thus there is no bonus to collect.

This round I can match the 3 and I have a wild. The wild logically goes to the tile with number 25. It is on a diagonal and also the horizontal line it is on is nearing completion.

Most score is made near the end of the game, so it s quite normal to still have only 2700 points when 26111 is needed.

And this round won't contribute more. The coin gave another 500 points and I can match 12.

So, I click the 12 and then the spinner to move to the next round.

Great! Most bonuses are low numbers, as you see 75, 450, 225. Not really a lot when 26111 is needed.

But now we revealed a big one, 15000.

If we could manage to collect this bonus we will at once be very near our goal.

But it will not be in this round, as there is nothing to match. So, let's go to the next round.

This round I have a wild to play in the 4th column (and that is all I have to play)

Putting it on 37 could be an option, when completing the pattern (if 1 comes up in a next round) that would give 2000 extra points.

Though 37 won't give a bonus and there is also 38. 38 will complete the horizontal line and give a bonus. 

I click 38.

The score went up with 1100, but the good news comes this round.

The wild can be used to either match 19 or 13, where 13 would be the better choice but it could also be used to collect the yummi 15000 bonus points.

Of course I take the bonus points!

There, bangg, the score is aready much more near what it should be.

This round I can make 2 more matches, another 200 points.

I match 19 and 29 and go on to the next round.

This round is as dull as a round can be.

There are no matches.

Let's go to the next round.

Ok, what to do with the wild?

Collecting 225 points is of course way too little. I better match the tile and then get 100 for that and 1000 for completing the vertical line.

This is an important difference. We go near the end of the game. The 1100 points extra make my score high enough that I would win this game with a 25% bonus. (20100+1100)x1.25= 26500

If I had collected the 225 points, the 25% would not be enough.

Of course you don't really have to make this calculation. A sure 1100 points is always beneficial above an uncertain 2000 points.

Oh bummer, another round with nothing to match.

This happens a lot in the last rounds, as so many numbers are already matched.

Thus, I click the spinner and go on to the bonus round. My faith is now at the mercy of the spinner, if it gives 25% or more, I won.

And there we are !!

With a nice score of 33300 this game came to an end. I won, thus I get my prize paid to me.

Caution: The bonus wheel does only spin when during the game you complete at least one line (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) or the pattern. If you fail to do so, it won't spin.
